FAQ
Do I need to stay with my child?
Yes, we do require an adult to stay with the toddler. This is a great opportunity for guardian(s) to connect with their child(ren) while doing activities together.
What do I need to bring?
Everything needed for each session will be provided. And snack is included in your registration at the end of the conference.
The session my child wishes to register in is full. What do we do?
You can check the different time slots for the same session or your child will have to select another session. As the conference fills, choices will become more limited. But all the sessions are child friendly and will be enjoyed by your child.
I am having troubles registering online. What do I do?
Please call (780-594-5542 ext. 2), or e-mail ( ). We will do what we can to help.
I did not get directed to the payment page. How can I get there so I can pay?
What if I can't pay with a credit card?
If you do not wish to pay using a credit card online, you can:
- call the church for alternative forms of payment
- come to the church Monday - Thursday, 9:00 - 4:00
Your child will not be fully registered and his/her spot may be cancelled, until payment has been made.
What is GO Protect?
We have a protection plan in place called GO Protect. All paid and unpaid leaders are screened, including a criminal record check with the vulnerable sector check and reference checks. We adhere to the policies established within that plan. As such, the doors will be locked after 10:00, and only those people who have a good reason to be in the building will be allowed in.
What is your cancellation policy?
We need to purchase and prep all projects that children will be creating during the Grow and GO Summit. As such, no refunds will be given, but do let us know if there are extenuating circumstances. In that case, the Summit committee will determine if a refund is warranted.
SESSION DESCRIPTIONS
Please discuss with your child what sessions they are interested in. Their choices will sometimes surprise us. We have also found that when children pick their sessions, they are more willing to participate even if it is not exactly what they had envisioned it would be.
| PARACHUTE GAMES | In this session, toddlers will play a variety of games using the parachute as the medium. Parents, you are welcome to join in with the fun! |
| HANDPRINT CRAFT | During this session, the children will create a directed craft by including their handprints using washable paint. This may be a bit messy, but the sink to wash hands is not far. |
| PLAY DOH | Kids will get the chance to make different designs using 3 colors of play doh. In the end, they will get to take their creations home with them. If the adult is a kid at heart, they will be able to make some creations of their own! |

SING WITH ME |
Kids will learn and sing some songs in a fun and interactive way. Parents will be able to join right in! |
| BALLOONS MANIA | Kids like balloons! They will get their bodies moving as they play games with balloons. Parents, be ready, you may have to get those bodies moving as well! |
| PAPER PLATE CRAFT | Toddlers will make a dinosaur using paper plates and construction paper. Things could get messy as they use glue. But no worries, the sink is close by. |
| BEGINNER SEWING | Kids will 'sew' fun, pre-hole punched cardboard pictures with some string! And in the end, they will get to take one home with them to continue the fun even after Summit is over! |
| STORY |
Kids will not just sit still as they listen to the story. This story will be interactive and require their participation. Some parents may even join in. |

PARACHUTE GAMESPARKER ROGERSParker has grown up in the Cold Lake area. He has been working with children since he was in grade 5 and is a great role model for these children. He is a thoughtful young man, wise beyond his years, yet knows how to have fun. ELIJAH HEADI’m Elijah, and I love helping with the kids' ministry at CLCC and attending Friday youth group. I’m passionate about working with kids and spreading positivity. I stay busy with hobbies like hockey, dirt biking, and snowboarding, and I’m always looking for ways to encourage others and make a difference. |

HANDPRINT CRAFTBRIELLE ROGERSBrielle is the youngest of four and has lived in Cold Lake area all her life. She is an energetic, vibrant grade 8 girl who loves adventure and finds enjoyment in whatever she does. She's great with kids and her love for life rubs off on those around her. . Makayla HeadHi I’m Makayla, I’ve spent the past seven years taking on leadership roles at school and love being involved in making a difference. For the past year, I’ve also volunteered in kids' ministry, helping children grow in their faith through crafts and building relationships. Outside of serving, I enjoy spending time with my family, horses, and dogs, finding joy in the simple things. I’m passionate about helping others and love being part of a community where I can make a positive impact. |

PLAY DOHJoy and Hannah BureauJoy was the Early Childhood Director at CLCC for 7 years and Hannah has served in children’s ministry since she was in grade 5. They both love Jesus and happily serve when they can. They look forward to spending time with the toddlers at Summit. |

SING WITH MEEden McKeeI’m a Cold Lake local and have grown up within the CLCC Youth Group. I began leading worship there at thirteen and haven’t stopped since. My heart’s passion has always been to teach others to worship in freedom and sincerity. No one worships quite like littles, thus I find it a privilege to work with them and learn from them. Shayleen rogersHey, I’m Shay and I have been a leader in children’s ministry for 8 years. I took a year off after high school to attend Bible college and am now in my first year of the practical nursing program. I love learning new things, hanging out with friends and family and having conversations about faith. My favourite season is summer when the sun is out and I get to cabin lead at Bible camp! |

If my child is unable to attend the Toddler Summit, I will contact the church at 780-594-5542 ext. 2, so a child on the waiting list can attend.
Photos/Video:
We will be taking pictures/video throughout the day. These might be used online, in print, or during church services. If there is a reason that your child or yourself do not wish to have your pictures/videos published in any of these medias, please add that to the comments during the registration process.
Purpose and Extent:
Cold Lake Community Church is collecting and retaining personal information for the purpose of enrolling your child in our Toddlers Summit. This information will be maintained indefinitely as it is a requirement of our insurance company and legal counsel.
The safety of your child(ren) is our primary concern. Precautions will be taken for their well-being and protection. Please see the session descriptions so you know if your child will be able to participate in the activity.
I/we, named on the registration, undertake and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ministry Personnel, Cold Lake Community Church, its Staff and Pastoral Council from and against any loss, damage or injury suffered by the participant as a result of being part of the Summit activities of Cold Lake Community Church. This consent and authorization is effective only when participating in the Summit activity sponsored by Cold Lake Community Church.
