Nursery (Ages 6 months - 3 years)
About our Nursery...
We believe that children of all ages can feel the presence of the Lord and be aware of His existence. This includes the children who come to the nursery. We provide a loving atmosphere for them where they can play and encounter the Lord through different means. Songs, stories, rhymes, coloring and other activities are provided as well as snack and water. We are well aware of allergies in the nursery and do not accept any food or drink brought with the child so we can guarantee a Nut Free Zone.
Three year olds are still welcome in the nursery, but are encouraged to move to ‘big’ kids church if they are fully potty trained. For children who need help with the transition, January, May, and September are designated ‘transition’ months, meaning they will leave the nursery for a portion of the Sunday service to join the ‘big kids’ for some activities at children’s church.
About our registration system...
Keeping your children safe is important to us. We use a sign in / sign out system to ensure that safety is maintained. Here's a quick guide to how children are registered, cared for and released from our nursery:
- Every family must complete a 'Family Registration Form'. Click to download this registration form, complete it, and bring it with you Sunday morning. The nursery is available just before each service and children can be dropped off at any time during the service.
- Once parents sign their child in, they receive a number that will be displayed on the screen in the sanctuary if their child requires their attention. The staff in the nursery do not change diapers nor do they take children to the bathroom.
- When the child is picked up, the parent must sign him/her out and return the number.
For the health of all children, we ask that you do not bring a child who has experienced flu like symptoms in the last 24 hours. Symptoms include but are not limited to: fever, runny nose, cough, upset stomach, vomiting, diarrhea.
